Nielsen Becomes Herald-Leader Editor

Lucas Roebuck left the Siloam Springs Herald-Leader in December, and Hannah Nielsen took over as managing editor of the newspaper, which is owned by Wehco Media Group of Little Rock.
Roebuck, who had been editor of the newspaper since March 2003, has taken a job as director of communications for Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. He will continue to write a weekly column for the Herald-Leader.
Nielsen has worked for the Herald-Leader since June 2003. She was promoted from reporter to community editor earlier in 2005, said Shelly Moran, the newspaper’s publisher.
The Herald-Leader is published twice weekly — on Wednesdays as a stand-alone publication and on Sundays as a section of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette called “Siloam Sunday.”
