Lowell to get World Gym

Lowell will soon be the home of the largest World Gym in the world. The Benham Companies is designing the 50,000-SF facility that is being developed by Mike Charlton of Charlton Development. Charlton will lease the space back to World Gym operator Rhett Garner. Garner operates two other World Gyms in Bentonville and Fayetteville.

The two-story building will feature a cardio deck, running track, spinning studio, racquetball courts, indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and a separate women’s-only gym.

There isn’t a construction delivery date set in stone, but we’re thinking early 2007 before anyone can do bicep curls there.
