Jay Leno of NBC’s “The Tonight Show” has been taking pot shots at Wal-Mart Stores Inc. ever since the company became a retailing power.
On Sept. 30, he gigged the Bentonville company after news came out that Wal-Mart might buy Tommy Hilfiger Corp. of Hong Kong.
“I didn’t know Tommy Hilfiger made muumuus,” Leno said.
