Channels 40/29 Expands Morning News

KHBS/KHOG, Channels 40/29, plans to expand its morning news coverage by 30 minutes beginning Aug. 8.
On that date, the “Sunrise” show will start airing at 5:30 a.m. Previously, it aired at 6 a.m.
“We realize that people are getting up earlier and looking for local news and weather,” Mike Courington, the station’s news director, said via a press release.
