AMP Artist Have Strange Requests

We hear the artists performing at the Arkansas Music Pavilion have some very specific instructions, or riders, to meet their needs while they are in town. So far, they’ve gone through 15 cases of bottled water for stars and their entourages.

Although we’ve heard that they’ve been very nice to staff, they also have their needs.

The Doobie Brothers demanded they have exactly 48 bath and hand-sized towels and six pairs of white socks. Oh and some people on the crew are vegans or are watching their carbs so they wanted things like carrot juice, soy milk and organic fruit.

The Atlanta-based Christian rock band Third Day has offered a recipe for “real sweet tea,” which they insist on having with every meal. They have requested a specific menu for each meal that includes their preference for pork chops, ham, mashed potatoes and gravy.

The Event Group of Fayetteville has the contract to cater to the stars at the AMP this summer.
