A sister company to Brass Eagle Inc. of Bentonville, WGP LLC of Corona Calif., was recently awarded $1.2 million by the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Arkansas.
Brass Eagle operates as a subsidiary of K2 Inc. of Carlsbad, Calif., which acquired the Bentonville company for $77.8 million in 2003.
The judgment was against Dragun Empire and Mike Spurlock for infringement of intellectual property rights on the companys Cocker and Autococker brand paintball guns marketed under WGP.
Were guessing when it comes to intellectual property, its best to not go off half-cocked.
