We noticed an almost duplicate page two weeks in a row in the Profiles section of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. The page ??” which ran in black and white on May 1, then in color with an additional photo and less copy on May 8 ??” was a write up of a surprise party to honor Gary George of Springdales Georges Inc.
The May 1, edition incorrectly stated, George is the outgoing chief executive officer of Georges Inc.
George remains vice chairman and CEO of the company, and the party was held in honor of the end of his 10 years of service on the University of Arkansas board of trustees.
We wonder if the D-G has changed its correction policy to include such an enormous expense on every error.
