Northwest Arkansas seniors who need help in day-to-day activities, but aren’t ready for in-home medical care, don’t have to look any farther than Rogers for assistance these days.
Dale Stuart and his son, Craig, have established a franchise of Visiting Angels, a nationwide provider of assisted living services for seniors.
The father-and-son team spent some time researching business opportunities and came up with Visiting Angels as a perfect choice, since they had the chance to work together and to help people.
Services are available any time of the day or night, and Craig Stuart said, only experienced caregivers are hired to provide assistance.
“We allow the care recipient to select their own caregiver. We also keep in touch with clients on a weekly basis to make sure they are happy with our services,” Stuart said.
Non-medical services available through Visiting Angels include basic chores, personal hygiene, meal preparation, shopping and companionship. Families of the care recipients are given a much-needed break from the strain of caring for their elderly family members as well as their own children or grandchildren.
Dale Stuart has owned his own accounting firm for 30 years. Craig Stuart is an information technology professional and former business owner. They declined to disclose start up costs.
