Russell Rogers of Springdale bought all of the Subway Sandwich Shops in Benton County from Terry Wiliams on March 2.

For an undisclosed sum, Rogers acquired the franchise rights to three Subways in Rogers, two in Bentonville, and one each in Lowell and Bella Vista. He owns the restaurants through his franchising company, SubVentures Inc.

Each of the Subways is about 1,400 SF in size and seats 25 to 34 diners.

Rogers said he plans to open a new Subway soon in Bentonville.

This is Rogers’ first venture into the restaurant business. He previously spent 15 years at TCA Cable and Cox Communications, where he most recently served as vice president of systems operations.
