Maloney Wins Gold At District Addys

Maloney Marketing Group of Cave Springs was the only Northwest Arkansas advertising agency to win a gold Addy Award at the 10th District Addy Awards in San Antonio, Texas.

The Gold Addy was awarded to the Maloney for work on the “True Cost” Meth Awareness and Prevention Month campaign for Drug Free Rogers-Lowell in the local campaign category.

Mike Maloney, president of MMG, spearheaded the concept for the campaign. Materials judged consisted of logo design, newspaper series, TV and radio production and a print brochure. The project will now compete at the national/international level. The judges at the 10th District Addy Awards saw 1,300 entries from 26 regional American Advertising Federation chapters and 17 colleges from Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas.

Other Northwest Arkansas agencies that won district awards were The Mullikin Agency of Springdale and Gary Weidner Productions, In House Creative Inc. and the Walton Arts Center, all of Fayetteville.
