Nickle Expands To Residential

Commercial real estate stalwart The Nickle-Hill Group Inc. is expanding into the residential market.

The firm opened a 3,000-SF office off “J” Street in Bentonville in March in addition to starting a multi-list Web site, www.nwahouses.com.

The Web site, powered by Rogers’ VeriSource Inc., will also offer commercial listings.

Principal broker Sean Trumbo and Jay Rodman have become partners in the new division. Trumbo will oversee operations at the new Bentonville location. Trumbo came to Nickle-Hill in 2003 from Fayetteville’s Athletic World Advertising Inc. where he was CFO and a partner. Rodman also joined Nickle-Hill in 2003 from Morgan Stanley’s Fayetteville office where he served as a broker.

“We are brand new in residential,” Trumbo said. “Our main goal right now is to let the public know that we are offering our residential services, and we plan on maintaining a high professional standard that people have come to know with our commercial side of business.”

Trumbo said the firm, founded in 1997, has 10 agents but is looking for more. The firm has four residential agents in Bentonville. The Fayetteville office plans to have residential listings, too, and development services are another line of business the firm is planning.
