Dale Munson treats everyone from newborns to senior citizens. From colic to back pain, chiropractic and acupuncture services can treat a whole host of ailments, Munson said.

The chiropractor opened his doors in late 2004 after moving to Bentonville from Dodge City, Kan., where he practiced for 35 years. Moving to the area was a logical decision, he said, since he had vacationed in the Ozarks for years and plans to eventually retire here.

“I really love what I do and would like to keep treating people as long as I can,” he said.

The clinic is a family business, consisting of Munson; his son Brandon, who is also a chiropractor; and Munson’s wife, Jeanne, who is the receptionist.

Moving the practice to its current 1800-SF location required a $50,000 investment for new computer and phone systems, an X-Ray machine and lease improvements.

Munson expects it to take 18 to 24 months to get his practice back up to the level that it was in Kansas when he made his move to Northwest Arkansas.
