Gray Matters LLC, the parent company of five locally owned and operated niche publications, is moving from Fayetteville to Springdale.

Gray Matters owns the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal, Northwest Arkansas Family magazine, Northwest Arkansas Newcomers Guide, Northwest Arkansas Guest Guide and the Northwest Arkansas Book of Lists.

Darin Gray, Gray Matters president, said the company has doubled in size since moving to the corner of Fayetteville’s Spring Street and School Avenue five years ago. At that time, it had nine employees and operated as a division of Arkansas Business Limited Partnership in Little Rock.

Gray formed a new entity and bought controlling interest in the Northwest Arkansas publications on June 17, 2004.

Gray Matters is moving from 2,850 SF of space into 5,500 SF at 2790 S. Thompson St. in Springdale. The new offices are located in The United Building adjacent to United Bank.

Gray Matters will lease its space from United Holding Co., the bank’s parent, which along with United-Bilt Homes is a tenant in the building.

“This move reflects the growth and expansion of our company and our business,” Gray said. “We’re a direct reflection of this region and we are very fortunate and blessed to have the need to expand into these new facilities to better serve our clients and readers.”
