We know that Lana Flowers’ Sunday column in The Morning News is about residential and commercial development because that’s what the tagline says at the end.

But we were confused when she asked readers in her April 10 column to “have mercy on spectators and do something about the pallid color of their legs, arms and stomachs before appearing in public.”

After several paragraphs, we realized she was writing about the expansion of Ultimate Tans, a tanning-salon company. She then goes on to write about a Bentonville hotel project, but we have to wonder how many people got through the sonnet dedicated to tanning.
