Chick?n & Papas Opens in Bentonville

Ruben Rivera and Juan Guerrero opened Chick’n & Papas on Jan. 12 in Bentonville. Papas is Spanish for “potatoes.”
The restaurant serves Southwest cuisine and Mexican food. Rivera said it differs from other Mexican restaurants in the area because it has California flair. Both men previously lived in California.
“We have a lot of salads,” Rivera said. “A lot of our chicken is char-grilled, not fried. Wednesday through Friday we have a fajita bar for lunch.”
The 1,600-SF restaurant at 1100 S.E. 14th St. can seat 37 diners. It’s open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday.
