WAC Wins Most ADDY Awards

The Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville won the most 2004 awards from the Northwest Arkansas Advertising Federation. The arts center won eight awards including Best of Show for its Season Guidebook. Copywriting for the project was by Jim Burns, Lisa Thurber and Terri Trotter of the WAC. The graphic design was by Doxa Total Design Strategy of Fayetteville.

Other award winners were:

  • The Mullikin Agency of Springdale won five awards (two gold and three silver), including Best of Show Broadcast for its “Bubba Series” of commercials for Steve Smith Chevrolet.

  • Gary Weidner Productions of Fayetteville won five awards (four gold and one silver). The company won a special judge’s award for a series of public service television commercials created for the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Northwest Arkansas.

  • Design Works of Rogers won two gold and one silver ADDY, including Best of Show Electronic for its Daisy Airgun Museum Web site.

  • Taylor Mack Advertising of Fayetteville won two gold and two silver awards.

  • Maloney Marketing Group of Cave Springs won two gold and one silver award.

  • Resource Design of Rogers won two gold ADDYs.

  • Ryan Partnership of Rogers won a gold and a silver award.

  • Sells/Clark of Fayetteville won two silver awards.

  • Live Light Media Services Inc. of Rogers won two silver ADDYs.

    Receiving one gold ADDY were Blu, In House Creative Inc. and Vulcan Creative Labs, all of Fayetteville, Marketing Partners Advertising of Springdale and Travis Williams of NorthWest Arkansas Community College of Rogers (student entry).
