Hank Browne, president of Hank’s Fine Furniture of Sherwood, was scheduled to open a 40,700-SF store in Fayetteville’s CMN Business Park March 12.

The store, at 636 E. Joyce Boulevard, offers several features not found in other Hank’s stores, including a café and free interior design services.

Steve Roberts, construction and property manager for Hank’s, said the project, including real estate, cost about $4.5 million.

Browne sold three area stores — in west Fayetteville, Springdale and Siloam Springs — to consolidate inventory at the new store. That left Hank’s with a store in Bentonville as the company’s only other one in Northwest Arkansas.

Browne started the company in 1981. Hank’s has 20 stores in five states. The company has 12 stores in Arkansas.
