Celebrity Sited On St. Paddy?s

We heard that John Paul Merritt, a former contestant from ABC’s reality TV show “The Bachelorette,” was spotted in Fayetteville celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at Dickson Street-area bars On the Rocks and Stir. Word on the street is that Merritt, an Oklahoma City resident, was flapping his lips about opening a restaurant in Fayetteville.

The self-proclaimed entrepreneur has another restaurant called Magnolia on Western slated to open in Oklahoma City in June. Wade Star, owner of The Deep Fork Grill on Western Avenue in Oklahoma City, is also a partner in the venture, along with two other owners who could not be identified.

Merritt was also spotted as a guest at the Laura Chambers-Seth Kaffka wedding in January. Perhaps he’ll be considering the new 4,100-SF restaurant space that The Barber Group Inc. has planned for construction in its proposed condo complex off Dickson Street.
