Bentonville Agents, Miller Enjoy Great Sales Years

Clint Miller, vice president of Griffin Company Realtors, has himself to thank for one of the largest year-over-year sales increases in Northwest Arkansas. He was in the Top 5 highest-grossing agents from Springdale based on numbers reported by area agencies.
Miller’s sales were up more than seven-fold from $1.96 million in 2003 to $16.8 million last year. He attributed that to a couple of personal land deals in which he found good value and turned the property around quickly.
That included the sale of Hidden Hills duplex subdivision in Springdale and a 40-acre commercial tract in Lowell. Together, they accounted for half of his production.
Overall, agents based in Springdale enjoyed a 75 percent increase in sales. Among the area’s big five cities, it was beaten only by Bentonville which has seen an influx of new Realtors.
Individual city sales winners included Meza Harris in Rogers, ($56.1 million); Rick Hawes in Lowell ($41.26 million); Keri Barber in Fayetteville ($38.42); Larry Kelly in Bentonville ($30.1 million); Danelle Carpenter in Springdale ($21.69 million); Brenda Haxel in Siloam Springs ($14.08 million); Bob Abercrombie in Bella Vista ($8.92 million) and LaVeta Key in Hiwasse ($6.33 million).
