Masterson Publishes ‘One Hip Book’

Mike Masterson, a columnist for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, self published a 112-page paperback book on Oct. 21 titled “One Hip Book.”
Masterson said the book is about the Zimmer minimal-incision hip-replacement surgery, which he had done a year ago to replace his right hip.
“This technique is so much more humane than the old way,” Masterson said. “My intent in doing the book wasn’t to make money but hopefully provide a service to those who will have to have this surgery.”
The book, which was published by Authorhouse of Indiana, sells for $14 on Amazon.com and locally at Barnes & Noble.
