D-G Breaks Story of Haas Hall Woes (Outtakes Opinion)

While we’re at it, we were impressed with Melinda Rogers’ unflinching expose of the financial woes of Farmington’s new charter high school, Haas Hall Academy. The story was published in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette on Feb. 6. Enrollment has dropped from 17 to 13 as hoped-for grants didn’t come through. Rogers talked to parents on both sides of the issue to present a balanced story.
