Haynes Hooks Two New Partners

Collins and Hunter Haynes of Haynes Limited have added two new Houston-based partners to their 25-acre apartment development off Stoney Brook Road in Rogers.
Mike Kaplan and Guillermo Guefen recently teamed up with Rogers’ Haynes Ltd. to form a new partnership, Ranch at Pinnacle LP, and bought the 25-acre parcel from its original LLC, Pinnacle Point Creeks, for $5.5 million. Haynes will maintain architectural control and ownership in the property.
Guefen’s firm, Guefen Development Co., plans to break ground on the 392-unit upscale venture in March.
Guefen also has several other upscale projects under construction in Texas. The perks in the Rogers complex will include a 30-seat movie theater, a large pool with outdoor fireplace, a game room and a state-of-the-art gym.
Kaplan Management Co. in Houston will manage the units. Kaplan’s holdings include more than 3,000 apartment units in Texas and Florida. Kaplan typically holds properties from three to five years.
