The folks at Fountain Plaza plan to have a 21,000-SF shopping center open by late summer. We hear they have about two-thirds of the yet-to-be built building leased and are in talks with potential national and local tenants. The Bentonville shopping center is an addition to the three office buildings that are already under construction on the site off South Walton Boulevard.

Dynamic Development Inc., of which Jeannie Fleeman Sooter is a principal, is the developer of the project.

The master-planned site, which includes one-half mile of South Walton frontage, has the potential for 450,000 SF of commercial/retail space.

A 13,000-SF building is scheduled to be complete at the end of this year. The 18,000-SF one is set for February, and the 29,300-SF digs are expected by March.

Eighteen of the 25 lots are still available. They will sell from $9 to $18 per SF and will range from one to four acres.
