KNWA Announces Jones Move

KNWA officially announced on Nov. 8 that Neile Jones had been promoted to co-anchor the 5, 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts. She replaced Deena Day, who left the station on Oct. 28.

Jones previously anchored the morning newscast for KNWA, Northwest Arkansas’ NBC affiliate. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Oklahoma and a master’s degree from Webster University. Jones, a Tulsa native, joined the station as weather anchor in 1997.
