A new real estate franchise may be flying south this winter.

Mike Robinson, executive broker for Century 21 A-1 Realty in Bentonville, plans to start Exit Realty Northwest, a franchise of Exit Realty Corp. International of Ontario, Canada, by December.

Robinson’s new Bentonville digs will be a 3,000-SF space off Arkansas Highway 102 for up to 26 agents. Garry Rhodes, principal broker with Lazenby Real Estate, will run the Fayetteville franchise.

Exit Realty first made its way into the U.S. in 1999 and its slogan is “Real Estate Re-Invented.”

Agents start out making 70 percent of their first $100,000 of gross commission and after they achieve that, they make 90 percent. Each new agent has to be “sponsored” by another Exit agent. The sponsoring Exit agent makes 10 percent of the gross commission of the sponsored as long as they remain at Exit.
