S. Richard “Dick” Levin left his job at Wal-Mart Stores Inc. last year where he worked as legal counsel for the real estate division for six years. Prior to that, he owned and operated his own law firm and title insurance company for 10 years. Now, he’s president of Triad Title Co., which opened two offices in Springdale this year and has plans to open a Bentonville office in coming months.

Levin explained that Triad can turn around a transaction in 72 hours with the help of SureClose, an online transaction management and communication platform.

Loan documents, title work and other important documents involved in a real estate transaction are posted on the SureClose site, and only those with a specific password for that transaction can view the information, Levin said.

“It gives us a faster turnaround time, they get the information in the manner they want it, and it’s archived forever,” Levin said.

Triad Title has already established a niche in the title insurance/real estate closing market with commercial transactions.

The company’s two Springdale offices total about 3,000 SF. Triad has six employees and will likely hire another four employees late this year to handle its new Bentonville office.

Levin declined to disclose Triad’s startup costs, but said the company was making a profit within six months of its opening.
