The Bank of Fayetteville N.A. is helping out Fayetteville’s Technology and Telecommunications Infrastructure Task Force (TTITF) by applying for a Technology Transfer Assistance Grant (TTAG) from the Arkansas Science and Technology Authority (ASTA).

Alphabet soup aside, TTAGs can only be granted to for-profit entities, which the TTITF is not. If approved, the money from the grant will be paid from BOF to Beta Rubicon Inc., a Fayetteville technology assessment firm, to do survey work for TTITF.

TTITF is made up of volunteers whose objective is to report to the Fayetteville City Council what strategic measures will be required to stay on top of the ever-changing needs of Fayetteville’s citizens and government. The task force, which was formed this spring, is to report its findings early in 2005.

There are 12 members of the task force including Craig Brown, Eric Heil, Susan Cromwell and John Lewis, chairman and CEO of the Bank of Fayetteville.
