Sunset Saloon Slated for Springdale

Brad Hatfield of Springdale plans to open the Sunset Saloon in early August in the 2,400-SF building at 130 E. Emma Ave. that previously housed Zinger’s Sports Bar & Grill and for five years before that, Macombers Restaurant.
Hatfield said the menu will include bar food as well as more upscale fare. He is installing bar-height mahogany tables and chairs and a mahogany pool table.
Hatfield said he plans to lease the building for two or three months, and if things go well, purchase it from Tom Stephens. Stephens had been asking $1.3 million for the property.
Stephens has three other buildings for sale in downtown Springdale at 118, 132 and 134 E. Emma Ave.
Angie Geels closed Zinger’s in February. The building has been vacant since then.
