Haynes Family Buys 17.5 Acres in Johnson

The Haynes family of Rogers recently paid $2.02 million for 17.5 acres on the north side of Johnson Road in Johnson.
The primo property, located between the Inn at the Mill hotel and Carley Road, was acquired through Johnson Holdings LLC from Dr. John H. Kendrick, a trustee of the Northwest Surgical Clinic P.A.
Collins and Cynthia Haynes and their son, Hunter Haynes, operate the Haynes Ltd. architecture firm and own about 700 ready-to-be-developed acres of land in Northwest Arkansas. That includes nearly 550 acres along or near the Interstate 540 corridor.
Hunter Haynes said the firm hopes to have some plans for the Johnson property ready for submission in about 60 days. There’s no word yet on what that might include, but the family’s core competency to date has been in upscale, mixed-use developments that incorporate natural beauty.
