Tom and JoAnn Dapp, owners of New Horizons Computer Learning Center in Springfield, Mo., plan to open a second facility in the J.B. Hunt Parkway Tower at Pinnacle Hills.
New Horizons provides training in more than 170 software applications, technical skills in computer networking with Linux, Oracle and Novell applications, as well as business skills including leadership and presentation expertise.
Dapp said he is in the process of getting the facility Microsoft certified.
The second-floor, 6,400-SF training center will have five classrooms and employ 11 or 12 personnel including instructors, account executives and administrative staff, Dapp said. He hopes the new facility will be up and running in July.
Both Dapps will help oversee operations.
