Mobile Graphics Promote Business

Eye-catching vehicle graphics can generate more than 600 impressions for each mile the vehicle is driven, according to information provided by Fastsigns, a sign and graphics company with franchises nationwide. Fastsigns of Springdale is thriving locally in the niche market of large-format graphics for vehicles.

“If you put vehicle graphics on your car, truck or van, think of the number of times you communicate your name and service to the community,” said Joe Waugh, owner of the Fastsigns in Springdale.

Waugh declined to disclose information about the firm’s local sales.

Fastsigns does a lot of graphics for delivery and service vehicles, but also for companies just wanting the added advertising. The company also does some graphics for tractor-trailers — mostly the tractors and not as many trailers, Waugh said. The larger companies with truck fleets often have their own graphics application systems, he added.

Technology changes have allowed vehicle graphics to become more complex and less expensive. Waugh said large-format graphics can turn a vehicle into “a work of art.”
