James and Kathy Dinwoodie recently expanded the nation’s largest in-home tutoring company to service Northwest Arkansas. After just five months of business, the Dinwoodies already have expanded their tutoring staff and are working with local schools to promote their services.

Working out of their home in Rogers, the Dinwoodies employ about 35 tutors in a wide variety of subjects and specialties. All of the Club Z tutors are either teachers or degreed professionals, most of whom have obtained a master’s degree.

James Dinwoodie is proud to be a part of the nation’s fastest-growing supplemental education company and the services that it offers members. “The business model of the Club Z franchise is the perfect fit for the demographics of the area,” said Dinwoodie.

Club Z tutors are located in Washington and Benton counties and come to members’ homes at a time that is convenient for both. Anyone from pre-kindergarten to adult can use the Club Z services. Dinwoodie wants potential members to know that Club Z services are not only for struggling students but also students who are not being challenged enough or have interests that are not being addressed in the classroom.

Employers can also benefit from Club Z, Dinwoodie said, “If companies have long-term, loyal employees that are lacking in a particular skill, this is a lot less expensive than other educational methods.”

Club Z tutors also are able to work with foreign corporations that want to improve their workers’ English and math skills.

The average Club Z member is tutored two to three times a week for an hour. Rates are determined by the frequency and length of sessions along with the age group of the member.

The Dinwoodies personally financed Club Z.
