Holiday Inn Possible in Siloam Springs

According to Bruce Ford, president of sales and marketing for Lodging Econometrics, a hotel research firm based in Portsmouth, N.H., Siloam Springs could see construction of a new hotel by the end of 2004.
A franchise agreement has been signed for a Holiday Inn Express, tentatively to be built at the intersection of U.S. Highway 412 and Arkansas Highway 59. Ford said that construction is slated to begin in September.
Robert Moore, director of community development for the city of Siloam Springs said he’s heard nothing of the Holiday Inn Express. If site plans were submitted for construction in September, Moore said, he wouldn’t see proposals until at least the summer.
