Forty Under 40: Andy Core
Andy Core believes so strongly that “a healthy lifestyle fuels success” that he’s built a career out of it. Core, a Fort Smith native, earned a graduate degree in exercise science from the University of Arkansas in 1993. He immediately started Core Wellness and has made it a success since. nHe did a lot of research in pursuit of his graduate degree and began to present that information, speaking about wellness and healthy lifestyle connections to success in other areas of life. n”I found I really enjoyed that and had a talent for it, so I began pursuing speaking as a professional,” Core said. nHe speaks on how to better integrate wellness into lifestyle and how it’s connected to stress management and other issues. nHe presents to all sorts of associations and corporations interested in supporting healthy lifestyle choices. Recently, Core spoke to the Arkansas Public Health Association.nCore’s said he’s proud to be one of only seven Arkansans who have achieved professional member status in the National Speakers Association. He also recently joined a local task force to help fight obesity. n”Helping people change their health and change their lives, that gets me out of bed every day,” Core said.
