Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods has changed the name of its Northwest Arkansas office. The Little Rock-based company has dropped “Blackwood Martin” from the name and changed it to Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods/Northwest, said James Gardner, chief operating officer and managing executive of the Fayetteville office.

The Northwest Arkansas office had operated under the name Blackwood Martin/CJRW since April 1, 1998, when Blackwood Martin merged with Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods. Mark Blackwood, who founded Blackwood Martin in 1977, retired from Blackwood Martin/CJRW in October. Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods was founded in 1961. Gardner joined the firm in 2002.
