Abdul Makes Bentonville Stop

Paula Abdul recently appeared at a business after hours function for the Bentonville-Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce, but it wasn’t the kind of after-five mixer that most local business types know. The American Idol judge, former Los Angeles Lakers girl and pop singer was a special guest at one of that Chamber’s Champion Business After Hours events.

The Bentonville-Bella Vista Chamber’s Champion Business Membership program is basically for national account vendors to Wal-Mart Stores Inc. It offers them exclusive programs every month and the opportunity to network in the clandestine world of retail suppliers.

Apparently, the event was hosted by Jerry Leigh Entertainment Apparel which carries Abdul’s young women’s clothing lines. The celebrity is also in the process of introducing a new jewelry line to Sam’s Club.
