Interior Designer Wins Four Regional Awards

Julie Wait Fryauf of Julie Wait Designs Inc. in Rogers was recognized recently with four interior design awards by the South Central Chapter of the American Society of Interior Design.r

Wait Fryauf’s interior design of the Crafton, Tull & Associates office in Rogers received the prestigious gold award. The circular exterior architecture of the 15,200-SF corporate office is mirrored in Wait Fryauf’s interior design. She and designer Lisa Claybrook also received a gold award for the interior design of the 14,000-SF Donna Axum Fitness Center at the University of Arkansas.r

Wait Fryauf’s interior designs for the new Rogers High School and the Gardens at Osage Terrace, an assisted-living development in Bentonville, were also recognized with bronze awards.r

The high school’s design incorporates color to help guide students and others through the building. It was recognized for exceptional design on a tight institutional budget. r

The Gardens at Osage Terrace was recognized as a national example of subsidized housing targeted to low-income elderly, but with an upscale design. The 43-unit complex includes apartments and common spaces, a library, dining rooms and an activity room. r
