Lehmans? Lovely Lease

Arnold “Tuffy” Lehman and son John Lehman of Lovely County Landmarks Inc. have leased the 5,400-SF bar, stage and restaurant space in the New Orleans Hotel in Eureka Springs. r

Mark Reeves and Debbie Reeves of DebMark Inc. signed a two-year lease agreement with the Lehmans. Mark Reeves, along with son Cody Reeves will run the restaurant that will serve American-style cuisine ranging from pasta dishes, steak and seafood to vegetarian roasted stuffed zucchini. The space formerly housed Eureka House of Blues and will now be called Eureka Blues and feature live jazz music. They plan to be open for business in late December or in early 2004.r

The Lehmans purchased the 28,000-SF New Orleans Hotel from Don and Shirley Newberry of Oklahoma. The Newberrys also own the Ozark Mountain Hoedownr

They are still finishing the renovation efforts in the hotel lobby and refurbishing the banquet facilities. The restaurant has been remodeled. The hotel has four floors facing Spring Street and six facing Center Street.r
