Bradley Blum, CEO of Burger King Corp., appeared recently on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” and discussed his company’s new international growth strategy largely based on healthier premium products. This strategy could mean more business for Tyson Foods Inc., since the Springdale firm is a major supplier to Miami-based Burger King.r

“I believe it would [mean more business for Tyson],” said Laina Hannah, a spokesperson for Burger King.r

The fast food firm recently announced the launch of three new 350-calorie, low-fat, fire-grilled chicken sandwiches. The Santa Fe chicken baguette, with a suggested price of $2.89, has been in stores since Sept. 18. Burger King’s savory mustard chicken baguette will debut Oct. 13, and the smoky BBQ chicken baguette will arrive on Oct. 27.r

Customers can now order a “lite combo meal” ($4.59) that includes the sandwich, a garden salad and bottled water.r
