Haile Joins KHOG

Jennifer Haile, who graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2001, took over the “sunrise anchor” position in September for television station KHBS/KHOG, Channels 40/29. Haile replaced Leslie Wright, who moved from morning anchor to co-anchor the 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. newscasts for KHOG, the area’s ABC affiliate. Wright, a 1997 UA grad, replaced Megan McHale, who left the station in August.r

Haile is a Heber Springs native who had been working for KSN-TV, the NBC affiliate in Joplin, Mo., since graduation. In Joplin, she was a reporter and later anchored the morning and noon newscasts.r
