William Brown and Seneca Austin have been in the concrete-construction business for more than 15 years. The two recently brought their work expertise to Northwest Arkansas in response to the area’s incredible growth and ongoing construction boom.

Brown relocated from Louisiana, and Austin came from Florida. Upon arriving in Arkansas, Country Boy established a partnership with Monogram Homes in Bella Vista. Through that partnership, Country Boy works on new-home construction doing driveway, patio, and decorative concrete work.

Work through Monogram keeps Brown, Austin, and three other full-time employees too busy for much more than the occassional freelance project for homes and businesses. Brown and Austin, who said they prefer to stick to housing projects, said they plan to work on about 100 homes this year through freelance and their Monogram contract.

With business already booming, Brown and Austin said they hope to increase their staff and eventually buy more equipment to increase their workload.

The company hopes to cull its business down to a six-day work week with a focus on meeting and contracting with new builders. Brown and Austin said they personally financed the launch of the business.
