Insurance/Real Estate Firm Offers Dual Services

Jones, Clark, Long & Associates Real Estate and Insurance has opened an office at 1200 N. College Ave. in Fayetteville just south of the Evelyn Hills Shopping center. The firm plans to offer a full line of insurance and real estate services.r

Partners Ed Jones, Brandon Long and Carter Clark bought the 6,600-SF building from Ruth Tune in June for $450,000. Their new business occupies 4,400 SF of the facility that formerly housed Ruth’s Beauty College.r

“We’re offering a full line of commercial insurance products through a number of companies such as Zurich Insurance Cos.,” Clark said. “Because we’re independent, we can deal with a number of companies to meet the individual needs of our clients. We also have access to the Northwest Arkansas MLS and plan to add an agent who will specialize in commercial real estate.”r

Jones, Clark and Long financed the new business themselves and incurred startup costs of about $60,000.r

Jones has more than 20 years experience in the insurance business. Long was most recently a real estate agent for four years with Lindsey & Associates in Fayetteville. Clark is a recent graduate of the University of Arkansas where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in finance and small business entrepreneurship.
