First Federal Bank Doubles Up on Bentonville

First Federal Bank, held by First Federal Bancshares Inc. of Harrison, opened the doors of its newest branch at 2501 East Central Ave., Suite 2, in Bentonville on Aug. 11. It’s the bank’s second Bentonville branch.r

The 1,500-SF office shares a building with a White Oak Station and is in a prime location near the Beau Terre office park, as well as Wal-Mart Information Systems and the Bentonville City Park. Dennis Chastain, First Federal’s senior vice president and northwestern regional manager, oversees the branch. r

Five new jobs were created as a result of the branch opening, including two tellers, a teller/loan officer, a teller supervisor and a loan officer.r

The full-service branch offers new accounts, lending, safe deposit boxes, drive-up service and ATM services. First Federal operates 18 branches in Northwest Arkansas.
