Stooges Planned for Mercantile Space

Ronnie and Robin Wheat plan to open a restaurant called Stooges in early September in Fayetteville’s historic Mercantile Building on West Avenue.
Ronnie Wheat and his son-in-law, Robbie Dunnahoe, previously owned Ryleigh’s Sports & More in Fayetteville. Wheat said Dunnahoe will open a bar within Stooges.
The restaurant will take up 8,500 SF in the Mercantile Building, including balcony and patio. Wheat said he is currently working on finishing out the second floor of the restaurant.
Stooges will be an American grill, serving steaks, burgers, chicken and pizza, Wheat said.
