Rainbow Curve Gets Condos

Bentonville’s Rainbow Curve is getting what we’d call a condominium complex.

Bill Lazenby, John Hampton and Don Heckathorn are building a 60,000-SF, three-story facility that sounds like a hybrid apartment building/extended-stay hotel. It will feature furnished suites ranging from 500-1,300 SF. Plans for the 80-room Executive Center Suites call for a private club, cafe, putting green, indoor pool and breakfast center in addition to retail space on the ground floor.

Heckathorn Construction will be the general contractor on the project that is expected to begin ground work in March 2004. A 45,000-SF office building is already being built next door. Banks are still vying to finance the project, but Community Bank of Rogers might have an inside track since it financed Executive Center Place’s initial development.

County records showed that the developers’ LLC bought the land in 2001 for $2.8 million from Hampton’s JTH Investments.
