Think Tank Enterprises of Bentonville has come up with a cartoon series that it’s currently pitching to Wal-Mart Stores Inc.

The cartoons, which can be viewed at www.ubada.com, feature imaginary friends for children. They’re called Ubadas.

According to the Web site, Ubadas are “designed to promote and develop the greatest single human tool — a child’s imagination.”

“The concept is every time a child is born, they have a special Ubada that is born in a parallel universe,” said Chad Smith, CEO of Think Tank Enterprises.

As a child grows, if he forgets how to use his imagination, his Ubada turns into an Adabu (Ubada spelled backwards). He must then rekindle his imagination and change the Adabu back to a Ubada.

And we were already having trouble with Ebitda.

Smith said Wal-Mart is carrying Ubada T-shirts. He wants the world’s largest retailer to also stock Ubada DVDs and other items.

Think Tank Enterprises has a staff of four who write and do the animation for the cartoons.

Smith previously worked for the William Morris Agency in Los Angeles and Pacific Connection, a supplier of handbags, in Bentonville.
