Bank of Rogers Branches Into Fast-Growing Centerton

Guy Cable, president of Bank of Rogers, said Centerton was a natural choice for the $99.3 million bank’s fourth location. When its new 2,700-SF branch opens there in late July, the Bank of Centerton will operate with the same focus on small business as its Rogers owner.

“We’ll have local people making local decisions in Centerton,” Cable said. “Centerton has a lot of similarities with Rogers. We’re a working person’s bank. With all of the growth and homes going up in Centerton we just felt like we would fit well into that community.”

Bank of Centerton will have its own local advisory board (see chart) and Randy Thomas and Tyler Steele will serve as its manager and loan officer, respectively.

The $600,000, full-service facility will employ five people and include an ATM and three drive-up lanes. Cable said the bank, which is already operating a temporary facility in Centerton, will keep its other ATM location there in Bruce’s Country Store.

Two Rogers firms, Crossland Construction Co. and Crafton Tull & Associates Inc., won the general contractor and architectural bids for the project.
