UA Names New Media Manager

The University of Arkansas announced on April 25 that Charles A. Crowson had been hired as manager of media relations. He will replace Rebecca Wood, who resigned in November to become director of development for the Fayetteville Public Library.
Crowson, who graduated from the UA in 1997, previously worked as an anchor for KSNF-TV, the NBC affiliate in Joplin, Mo. He also worked for KHOG-TV, Channels 40/29, in Fayetteville/Fort Smith as a photographer and assistant producer for the weekend newscasts. Crowson is originally from Monticello.
