NWACF Sponsors Philanthropy Conference

The transfer of wealth between generations is expected to total at least $41 trillion over the next 50 years, according to a news release announcing a May 13 conference focusing on family giving. The Northwest Arkansas Community Foundation is sponsoring the conference.

Virginia Esposito, president of the National Center for Family Philanthropy in Washington D.C., is scheduled as the keynote speaker for the “Focus on Family Philanthropy” conference.

The conference is designed for professional advisers to help them work with families and clients regarding their charitable goals. Professional advisers are encouraged to bring clients.

The May 14 event will be held at the Springdale Holiday Inn beginning at 4:30 p.m. Esposito is expected to speak from 5:30-7 p.m. The cost is $35 per person.
