KFSM-TV, Channel 5, moved Kelly Kemp and Clint Boone to the morning newscast on April 21. They now anchor the newscast from 5:30-8 a.m. weekdays. They replace Lydia Joseph, who left KFSM in early April for a position with KFOR-TV in Oklahoma City. Both stations are owned by the New York Times Co.

Kemp, who has been with the station for 14 years, will continue to anchor the newscast at noon weekdays as well.

Boone is a meteorologist who previously anchored the weathercast at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Garrett Lewis will take over the weathercast in those time slots, joining anchors Bridget Schultz and John Lee.

Also on April 21, KFSM began airing a weekly business report featuring Darin Gray, publisher of the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal. The report, called “Northwest Arkansas Preview,” will appear each Monday from 7-7:20 a.m.
